A abstract study on texture and colour, Eridan used a monochrome palette in order to portray a bleak and grey experience trying to become sober. A figure stands before a dark protruding void, above them is a fire alarm. Sand was applied to the ground in a mixture of gesso and sculpting medium. Through washes of ink and acrylic paint Eridan created depth into the piece adding highlights with acrylic marker.
